Well, well, well, look what we have here! Possibly one of the most creative, innovative and overall stunning shoots we have ever had the pleasure to provide wedding stationery for, and which features some of our best friends and fellow Wedding Collective crew. What could be better I hear you say? Well, not much!
Guardswell Farm (uber-cool rural meets contemporary wedding venue which has burst onto the scene in a big way, and is the utmost obsession of our lovely Lyndsey) was the location for this incredible day, filled with gorgeous golden hues and splashes of colour against this amazing contrasting backdrop.
We supplied some of our favourite pieces on the day, which were styled to perfection by the wonderful Lemonbox Studios. To work with the opulent aesthetic captured by Caro Weiss, we used our laser etched, gold mirrored perspex day stationery, including Place Cards, Order of the Day and Menu. As we’ve mentioned in previous blogs, this year has seen a massive rise in the addition of texture to wedding stationery, and the deep golden sheen of the mirrored perspex is something we’ve loved using across various celebrations this season.
Our Max stationery suite complimented this look perfectly, with its subtle gold foiling and deep, clean perspex finish. An uber luxe black envelope added the finishing touches to this, our stationery dream. Tables laden with flashes of bright florals, rich blue duck eggs and candles in abundance elevated this already stunning setting to new and unexplored heights. The incredible cake was provided by our pals and neighbours Big Bear Bakery, and the geniuses that are Pyrus supplied floral fantasy in abundance.
We love the fact that couples are no longer afraid about conforming, and are so keen to inject personality and individual flair into their days. This shoot was a true and beautiful representation, not of a mainstream day (all weddings are gorgeous in our eyes) but of something truly unique, and like nothing we’ve been asked to be a part of, or have even seen represented in the reams of images we see on the daily.
Laura Ironside’s incredible burnished gold gown and perfectly simple trouser suit provided the most amazing base and inspired the whole shoot. The exemplary cut and care in each piece shines through, and if you ever have the chance to touch these glorious silks, please do! Luxe in abundance.
We could barely contain ourselves when we received the previews of these images, and were so proud to see the whole shoot featured across on Love My Dress at the end of last year. It’s a true honour to be able to call some of the most incredible creatives in the UK our friends, and we’d love to thank Caro and the amazing Lemonbox ladies for asking us to get involved!
